Hi! I’m back! Been busy with the rigmarole of life. Familial responsibilities and economic needs. I’ve also been working on the side to set up my own company for doing more work like I did in Kashmir. I’ve gone over every possible thing in social upliftment. I’ve donated, I’ve educated, I’ve enabled by training and I’ve helped employ people with the help of my benign and amazingly gracious mother! It is her I get this respect and ownership of responsibility from.

My journey has taken me to roads less traveled!

Over the years, I’ve done my bit in helping strays be accepted as ‘Indies’. Only a few know I legit coined the term! I have tried helping strangers with emotional pain and have celebrated moments of happiness with kids in orphanages. It all left me dissatisfied and felt fleeting. It has taken me over 12 years to come up with the best possible solution for upliftment of the masses in our country! And No! It’s NOT charity!

They do NOT need our charity! They need education to understand the basics so they can learn skills. These skills in turn should gainfully employ them. The employment should be on terms of their value system, boundaries and capacity! These job or business opportunities need to be long term so as to uplift in actuality!

Exposure under guidance – ‘Guarded Exposure’

They Need OUR respect, time and experience to guide them! I call this ‘Guarded Exposure’.

To enable kids from lesser means by a formatted training specifically designed for that kid so as to not just uplift but sustainably and gainfully employ them. These are big words and you know me! I never say things I haven’t done! I have been working with 4 kids ( small sample set with my humble earnings) very closely. I have mentored them, guided them and helped them elevate their standard of life by a few notches. This has helped me develop a system! I now plan to engage a community of people who BELIEVE in ‘Good People don’t have to finish last!’

To enable, first we must understand their needs! To understand them, we must listen!

This is an appeal to each friend who I’ve helped even in a small manner to come up and help me build an army. A community of well wishers, A space for actual tangible change spearheaded by yours truly! We need your support not just in money, in time, in spirit, in experience, in expertise, in subject matter, in guidance, in enabling.

The Kaleidoscope Inc because I remember making this beautiful tool in school with broken bangles and small artifice. I remember wondering how 3 strategically set up mirrors can bring a beautiful perspective to broken items. Every child growing with economic issues is an adult we lose to poverty. Every child whose potential is lost is a loss for our society. There is a potential poet sitting at a BPO trying to pay his father’s debt. There is a ‘Sachin Tendulkar’ who has to give up his dream to support the 3 siblings. There is a ‘ Deepika Padukone’ in a small home too scared of the big bad world!

Parents and Teachers of children must be enabled to equip children of the new age digital means of earning a life!

Let’s enable so we live in a Much Better World! Let’s give them a family so no child looks up at a parent and thinks I wish I were born in a better home. Let’s make parents and children more satisfied and happier and build a beautiful world with Peace and Light!
