Hi! I am Sherry and I am an addict!
I am completely hopeless when it comes to my restraint against buying a new bottle of scent. I have around 50+ of my own that I seldom share. I am known to let a cheat go scott free but steal my Perfume and there is just no pardon!
Imagine my pleasure when a 200 year old company that formed an integral part of my childhood with their ‘Lily of the Valley’ talcum powder came out with lotions! Well, was a long time from today, I know! What I did not know before this week however was the strong sillage it projects. I am wearing just the lotion on days and people walk past me asking me which fragrance I have used! No kidding!
So, the ingredient list is endless and has a potential to brush up your chemistry but that is not always a bad thing. Some Chemical Gibberish is actually good news for our skin like the palmitic acid and stearic acid which are the useful type of fatty acids. Glyceryl Sterate is an emulsifier which helps keep the moisture locked in our skin. It is also known to protect skin from free-range damage. It has Soy Protein, Glycerine and Olive Oil amongst the easier to understand ingredients. be
Disclaimer : Now, I know, I am no doctor or a chemist but we live in an age of free knowledge and I brushed up mine to write this article and I urge you to do so too if you’re keen!
Moving on to the Texture of the cream – It is light and feels feather light. Does not sweat at all during hot hours and feels powdery. The skin feels smooth and normal in a good way.

Skin is shinier and glows with hydration post use of this lotion. Refer the before picture above and after picture below! It may not be most ideal for people with dry skin but is perfect for those with normal to oily skin! It doesn’t deep condition like a cream would and I wouldn’t expect that from a lotion but it does a stellar job at keeping your skin hydrated for 8 hours or so!

My favorite part however about this lotion is the perfume. It may not be a multi-layered Perfume Concoction but the single note stands out and stands out proud and tall. It can be felt on the skin for hours and this is not a lotion for those faint nosed fellows who like their creams non fragranced! (Why!?) It is a beauty worth reveling in and I feel it is a perfect day and night time application lotion.
Cons of this product include the lack of their best fragrance ‘Lily of the Valley’. I haven’t found it online or on shelves near me. English Musk may be too masculine for women. Nothing else that comes to my mind that could hurt!
Go enjoy this if you’re a perfume lover like me! Thank me by liking, sharing, subscribing to my blog!
